(a) Registration of the following postal items shall be mandatory:-
(1) In the case of items with the word "Registry" written on the front of the postal item, but in the case of items that have already been delivered and are to be registered again, the addressee will submit the postal item by taking the same registry document as when it was registered for the first time.
(2) Pulindas,
(3) Insurance items,
(4) Items requiring a customs declaration form (customs declaration form),
(5) Checks, Hundis and Bills etc (b) If the items required to be registered according to clause (a) above are not registered, double the registration fee applicable to that postal item will be charged from the addressee or the sender who takes delivery.
